Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi has participated in the 7th International Conference of the Union of Arab Statisticians that was hold in Cairo 7-8th of March 2023 with The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (Egypt), under the auspices of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, and in the presence of Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Majid Othman, President of the Union of Arab Statisticians, and Khairat Barakat, President of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. As well as the presence of several representatives of ministries and agencies, in addition to a group of academics and researchers interested in the science of statistics from various Arab countries.

On November 23, 2023, partnered with the Conscious Planet Organization to conduct a workshop at the Congress Hall. The workshop was specifically designed for first-stage university instructors who teach the subject of ‘university work environment.’ Led by university faculty, volunteers, and environmental experts, the event aimed to actively engage students in the ‘Save Soil’ campaign.
This global initiative, supported by over 4 billion individuals from 84 nations, aims to safeguard the soil from environmental threats. The workshop’s objective is to integrate the Kurdistan Region into this widespread effort against environmental destruction.

On Oct. 19th, 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasfi T. Kahwachi as a Viva member of the PhD Student in Statistics (Adel Abud Najim) from the College of Administration & Economics, Statistics Department, at Karbala University, the holy Karbala Governorate (Al-Ataba Al-Hussainiya city) and (Al-Ataba Al-Abbasiya city). The PhD Defense was held in (Sayed Alma’a) Hall.

The Level Up College in partnership with the Bridge Organization, also known as ´The Bridge Center for Training and Human Development,´ organized a two-day workshop with the primary focus of introducing the Bologna Process to attendees. The participants included representatives from various Iraqi universities. This workshop occurred at the University of Sulaimani and spanned from October 17th to 19th, 2023. The presenter for this workshop was Assistant Prof. Dr. Abid K. Rasul, the Dean of the College of Political Science. Towards the end of the workshop, certificates were distributed to the participants by Assistant Prof. Dr. Zana M. Hassan, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies.
