A workshop on : “Envisioning SU 2050 Scenario Building”
A two-day workshop will be held on July 27th and 28th by in cooperation with Zahawi Center for Intellectual Studies facilitated by Dr Abdulwahed Jalal. Representatives of both entities will give their words during the opening speech followed a number of sessions to exchange and elaborate the view and plans of both sides.
During the workshop, the future vision will be shared in addition to its unique strengths, values and aspirations for a more strategic guidance and development in the future. The College policies and actions, academic programs, research and student support services will be reviewed in addition to a careful speculation of the university infrastructure to set some possible roadmaps and strategies for further development.
The third meeting of Dentists in Level up College was held.
On June 22, 2023, with the presence of Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Rahel Faraidoon, Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Haval AbuBakir, the Governor of Sulaymaniyah Province and Prof. Dr. Kosar M. Ali, the presiden and several senior government and party officials, teachers and personalities of Sulaimani, was held the third meeting of Sulaimani Dentists in the conference hall of the
Dr Sarchal Zorab, head of the Sulaimani branch of the Kurdistan Dentists Union announced his pleasance for the success of the event. He asserted that several significant dental-related activities will be held throughout the ceremon
The Level Up College showcased its academic achievements at the International Book Fair in Sulaymaniyah, featuring 80 academic and scientific titles authored by its instructors in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. The books covered a wide range of fields, including medicine, agriculture, literature, and politics. For the first time, the Central Library and Printing House contributed to the event, with Prof. Dr. Tarifa Omar Ahmed, Director of the Library and Printing House, highlighting their involvement. Dr. Tarifa Omar also emphasized that the university would host a series of academic and scientific discussions through panel presentations over the course of seven days. Additionally, at the authors’ forum, professors whose books have been published by the university press will be invited to present their works and engage with the audience.
The ceremony continued with the university’s presidential statement by Prof. Dr. Kosar M. Ali in which he expressed his ultimate contentment with the ceremony, he also stressed the importance of such events and the role of University of Sulaimani in training several successful dentists both nationally and internationally. Prof. Dr. Kosar M. Ali affirmed to support the department in the future.
Then, Dr Haval AbuBakir, The Syndicate of Health Union and Dr. Saman Barzinji presented their statements about the necessity of the Dentistry College in the country and the role of the whole healthcare members in advancing the health system in the region. Dr. Saman also asserted the Ministry’s assistance to provide premium health environment for the citizens.
Later, the exhibition of the third meeting of Dentists of Sulaimani was opened by the authorized attendants in the ceremony.
