Language and Culture Center
The Language Centre was established in 2011 as an independent, university-wide directorate and community service. It offers a wide range of English courses, as well as courses in other languages. The Centre provides English language instruction to government employees, graduates from universities in Kurdistan, university lecturers, and private sector employees who wish to improve their English skills. Additionally, we support members of the University of Sulaimani and its colleges who require foreign language proficiency for study, research, academic exchange, or personal and professional development.
Our vision is to be a leading language and culture center that promotes language proficiency, cultural competence, and diversity. We aspire to be a hub for language and culture enthusiasts where individuals can connect, share ideas, and learn from one another. We aim to foster a passion for learning and promote cross-cultural understanding, respect, and appreciation. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to a more interconnected and harmonious world, where language and culture are celebrated and valued.
